I was challenged to fully design the 2016 annual report for Allegiant Airlines. The company grew 18 percent through that year. I wanted to emphasize on the growth and give credit to the reasoning behind the profitable year. The design took on a typographic approach by extracting small snippets from the president’s letter and highlighting them in full-page layouts. I positioned the text over images of aerial shots that not only represent the “high” success rate but also the various experiences possible for the consumer. To tie the images to the brand, I gave them a blue and orange monotone color to reflect their logo. I also wanted the footer to be unique in its way rather having a traditional page number only, so I ran a rule above and below the page numbers across the entire page.
